Amazing!! The food was phenomenal and the service was prompt and courteous. The food was so good we didn’t get any pictures except for the desert. Highly recommend the Calamari Fritti, Pollo Saltimbocca, and Fettuccine Alle Vongole. The best Italian we have ever had!! Thank you!!!

I hope you like stories and have a good sense of imagination. The food was amazing! Imagine this: you’re walking in a new city, gallivanting around the streets, taking pictures of different things that catch your eye & touch your soul. When, as you’re crossing a random parking lot, you see the sign for an Italian restaurant, in an inaccessible alleyway. Your hopes fly high, cause mom & pop spots are either terrible or they are fantastic, and you excitedly walk around the corner to the front of the restaurant. First impression does not disappoint. The customer service is great. The bar looks like you should sit there and whisper plans for a romantic getaway (to someone else ). The menu is short but perfect and some of the classics are not there so you have to try something new You sit, they bring you fresh bread and a tomato pesto to dip your You pick a lamb bolognese over handmade-on-premises pasta and hope for the best. Let me tell you, the best does happen. The pasta is al dente and simply delicious (insert chef’s kiss)!! And it is made by the lady of the house. The sauce? Exquisite. When you’re done with your meal you get some tiramisu because, well... it’s tiramisu. You find out it’s made by the chef, the gent of the house. It’s also simply delicious! You leave here wanting to recommend this place to everyone! And you know you’re lucky because you cannot order this food on DoorDash or Uber Eats and the like.

Cozy italian restaurant, fresh made pasta and great dishes. Reasonably priced food and wine. Excellent and friendly service, even for the day after Thanksgiving. Would I go back? Definitely yes. Make reservations, and note it closes early.

CasAntica is such a gem! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was truly amazing from start to finish. We had the burrata antipasto to start, followed by the fettuccine allo Scoglio, Veal Saltimbocca and pappardelle bolognese—everything tasted so fresh and authentic. The Chianti we had with dinner was the perfect pairing, and we finished with the tiramisu, which was absolutely delicious! The whole experience was phenomenal, and I can’t recommend this place enough.

Rarely write reviews, but have to give praise to this top-notch family restraunt. Truly felt honored to be in a place that felt far from home yet familiar at the same time. Enjoyed some of best home made Italian dishes I've ever had - whole family was impressed! Will be telling as many people as possible to visit, and eagerly look forward to the next meal with you! Amazing and authentic Italian food in a historic Sarasota home converted to a restaurant. The home makes for a fantastic setting. The ambiance is quaint, the service is attentive, the dishes are well thought out. Great experience.

Celebrated my friends Birthday party. Food was delicious. Beautiful restaurant. Right across the street of Westin hotel where we went afterwards to enjoy stunning Westin rooftop view. Loved this place

As I've said before, those of you that follow me know that I like to search out, great ,small local restaurants , CasAntica Ristorante fits in well. A taste of Italy right here in downtown Sarasota Fantastic food , not a huge selection, but true Italian food. Nice wine selection. Great service, very helpful and courteous staff
